What's New

Claire love's her ballet class. This month parents were invited to sit in and observe the class. Next time you see her ask her to show you a few moves. She is not shy....

Quinn lost his first tooth (well really second) on Feb 9th. He was so excited!! The tooth fairy left him $10.00. Quinn said, "the fairy must of felt bad for me and left me huge bucks since dad knocked my first tooth out!!!"

Drew of course is just being a boy in this picture. He loves to play army. Auntie Teena bought home a few things from the army base for him to wear while playing.

A Birthday To Remember

Can't believe "Murph" is 7 years old. How quickly he grew up. The theme of his party was his favorite things - chicken Enchiladas, stuff taco shells, tacos, rice, beans, fruit salad, cheesecake and banana cake. Everyone must have loved Mexican food because there was nothing left.

Presents and more presents: Wii games, DS games, Leapster 2 and games, gift cards and money. After all was said and done a special present was given to him. For two years he has been asking for a snowboard and this birthday he was given one. The look on his face was priceless.

This is not a sport mom and dad know anything about but thanks to Mr. N (Drew's friends dad) who has offered to teach him what he needs to know. He has already been to Wilmot with the Pirate Posse and Mr. N., had a lesson and has been down the bunny hill a few times. What an exciting time for him. Drew hopes dad will take up the sport with the help of Mr. N push him to give it a try. Thanks Mr. N!!!

Ballerina Claire

Today was Claire Annie's first day of Ballet class. She is taking classes with the Kenosha Academy of Dance. Since one Claire has been walking around with Katelyn's old ballet shoes and tap shoes on. Finally, she was able to get her own shoes and ones that fit her just right.

She was very excited to put on her leotard and shoes. Her teachers name was Mrs. Susan. She was able to wear butterfly wings and dance during one part of the lesson.

Claire can't wait to go again!

Murphy Christmas Eve

What a great night we all had at the Schiess' house. We celebrated with the whole Murphy family. Everyone was able to make it this year - a total of 57 people.

Food, Food and more Food was on the menu. Chuck-a-luck was an old tradition that grandma Murphy started. A the kids had fun playing and winning prizes off a shelf. Santa arrived around 8 p.m. reading "The Night Before Christmas" to all the girls and boys. Gifts for all were passed out from the man in the red suit. Family pictures were also taken with Santa.

As always we had one family member down for the count..... Quinn started vomiting about 1:00 in the afternoon but was a trooped with his bucket. It wouldn't be a holiday without someone sick.

Snowboy's & Snowgirl

What a great snowfall we had over night. The kids have been outside since 9:30 a.m.. and are still outside. We have not had a plow yet today and several cars have been stuck trying to get out of the subdivision. They are saying 12' to 13" of snow falling in Kenosha.

First Grade Christmas Concert

Oh my goodness, this was the cutest performance I have ever watched. Wow did Mrs. Lindgren do an excellent job with the first graders. The kids sang 8 songs "Patriotic Melody", "Yankee Doddle", "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth" were just a few.

Drew is hoping for his "Two Front Teeth"!!

Drew didn't miss a beat with his hips or with the drum he played during one of the songs. We can't wait to show this performance to everyone. Too Funny!!
